As the leaves begin to turn and the crisp autumn air settles in, September 2024 marks a pivotal moment for high school seniors.
This is the month to finalize your college list, diligently work on applications and essays, and schedule interviews when they become available. Don’t forget to request those crucial recommendation letters from your teachers and counselor. It’s also essential to review your transcript for accuracy and keep an eye on your school’s website for fall college rep visits in your area.
Remember, critical deadlines are approaching: the ACT is on October 26th, with registration closing by September 20th, and the SAT on October 5th, also requiring registration by September 20th.
Meanwhile, for 10th and 11th graders, it’s time to sign up for the digital PSAT at your high school.
Moving into October, seniors should register for the November 2nd SAT by October 18th and continue to engage with college reps and complete Early Decision/Early Action applications.
